The den was quiet and dark, as it always is. Starsight slipped inside, making herself visible to the blind medicine cat. Sunlight streamed in behind her, sending bars of golden sunlight stretching across the ground like stripes on a cat's pelt. Padding close to Silverfrost she bent forward and whispered in her ear:
"Four stars shall unite against a bone stronger than life itself. Only the stripes of gilded light plus the aid of three can save the clans from total destruction."
Then she was gone, and the medicine cat's sight darkened once more.
